What is Record Store Day?
Record Store Day is an annual celebration of independent record shops worldwide, founded in 2007. Major and indie labels release exclusive limited-run pressings — picture discs, coloured vinyl, live recordings, rarities and unreleased material — sold only at participating independent record stores. It's the biggest event of the year for vinyl collectors.
